Cave Paintings USA at Roman Susan was an interactive installation of paintings inspired by the topography and architecture of the American South. The paintings were installed inside three giant cardboard boxes - a mutated version of Box Gallery - and visitors were invited to crawl inside the boxes with flashlights to view the work. The pop-up installation was curated by Allison Lacher and Jeff Robinson as part of programming for their exhibition No Diving!
